Been a while since I posted on here.. Not since my GSR got stolen at least :'( I never realized HondaSwap had a S2000 section when I used to post on here, and I happen to be test driving one tomorrow. It's a 50+ mile drive from where I live and I just want to know what to expect/what to look for...
I have a 95 gsr and I was going through the same thing for some time. My idle was unbelievably low.. and sounded like it was going to die the entire time I drove it. I went to hell and back before simply changing the fuel filter... It's been a few days since I changed it and it's been fine...
I actually found out that the head includes camshafts but it was still good to know that there was a significant difference. The cams included are stock gsr cams that came with the original motor so I'm just going to keep them.
I do plan on getting it professionally tuned, right after I finish the rebuild :mellow: since I changed my mind about boost and wanna do an N/A build. Thanks for the advice though ^_^
Ahhh.. makes sense now. Thanks fellas. Any suggestions for cam gears brands? I was thinking of going Toda (not vtec killers). I'm also gonna get some bearings and type r pistons and rods for the block. Will that pretty much put my motor in tiptop shape?
