i just put a b16 head on my gsr block and i have about 85lbs. in cylinders 1-2 and the others just about 55lbs.. evrytime i try to start it it sounds like the timings off but it isnt. also i just got another new head gasket and i have everything to gether but for some reason i have no juice from...
I was thinking about buying a d15b8 block with high compression pistons and rings with the d16y8 head for 300$. I was just wondering what kind of power i'd be getting out of this and if it's even worth the 300$
i have the y7 engine now and was wondering if i should get a y8 head that needs the valves adjusted and a solinoid or should i go buy the whole y8 motor which would be better for bore, cams, injectors, port and polish and would give me the best performance

i have a d16y7 in my 99' ex im just wondering what to do to it to get me more power but im not looking to turbo it.. it has an intake and full exhaust right now and im trying to buy a y8 head.
o0o i said what i said about the room b/c idn if there wasnt enough room in the eg model to do a turbo and things like that without having to cut anything to make room

if you got 3g to spend on a at to mt y dont you just buy a older mt car for lke half the price as it would be to change the tranny so yu have more to play with and you have the mt already

im thinkin of buyin a exhaust (i have headers and down pipe) the piping is 2.5 to a 4.5 tip would tht be a good or bad choice performance wise cuz i already no its gonna loud as fuk but i like the loudness

aout the fitting of the series i was buyin exhaust for my civic but its got a dx motor n the guy said it wouldnt fit on my car n i was confused...
i dont have emmissions in florida and im not sure but im goin with a b16 or d16. i like the eg a hell of alot better but i didnt no if the ek was lighter or just things that would make it better than the eg
