I have a 97 dx hb with a ls-vtec. When i drive the the car hard going up to 8300rpm it falls out of vtec and code 22 pops up. if i turn off the car and turn it back on i get no check light untill the vtec engages again. Any ideas i been like this for a while. :confused:
I am coding for the pressure switch.i went over all wiring, changed ecu and pressure switch still the same. the only time when i dont get the code is when i splice a grond to the signal wire but as soon as it vtec the lights back on again. could my pressure switch be bad
yes oil is good and i also know it should be warm to activate. the thing is it vtecs when the temp gets over the first mark.but once its at half it stops.i checked the grown connections but dont know what to check next.
