I have a Spoon Sport chip(real) in my p30. It came with the ecu and have no idea whats its tuned for. Its running way to rich down low(sputtering, inconsistent idling, fuel guzzling). Im thinking its from the chip. Is there any way to take hondata's RomEditor and just burn a stock JDM p30 base...
yea, I checked all the vacum lines, couldnt find a leak. havnt checked the fuel line. Im gonna just call jdmsource..again and tell him to send me a virgin ecu
lol yea its pissing me off. It looks real, it doesnt just say Spoon white with black letters. Its like green with Spoon Sports on it and says p30 and some other lettering on it
I just swaped a b16a in my 95 coupe. I got an Exedy Stage 1 Clutch. How bad is it to chirp a coulple gears the first 2 days. Im not talkin beating the hell out of it. I couldnt resist it. I have been shifting into 5th and just crusing alot. Whats the worst that can happen. I plan on going easy...
I think he doesnt know what hes talking about. I think that chip is just loading up fuel and making vtec hit hard. Also running me out a half tank of gas in a day.
Well i just called jdmsource. He said that he knew it came with a spoon chip and its 100% real. All it does it remove 120mph speed limit and engage vtec more agressive. He said I should check my timing. ...no idea how to do that.
I just got a JDM B16a swap from jdmsource. I could tell the ecu was not a virgin. Looked inside and to my surprise. What looks to be an authentic Spoon Sport chip sitting there. I think it could be making my car run a little rich. At idle the rpms fluxuate a little. Not alot just a little...
After doing some research I have come to a conclusion. To use the ps rack, you can...either just take off the belt and leave the unit inplace(will work fine)...or if you want to remove the whole unit, you have to take the line going IN and the line going OUT and loop them back. Search around you...
well Im pretty sure your check engine light is from the knock sensor(saying u didnt hook it up). I also think vtec is suppose to be loud, I may be wrong though lol. Is your car running alright?
