for reals people are all for aftermarket intake manifolds, but i would say get the d16y8 intake manifold. When you see it you would know why that manifold is so different from others. I've seen the intake myself and its the one i plan on using for my next engine. I dont know how much you can...
I'm a merchandiser for pepsi. I wouldn't saying my job sucks but it gets pretty close. Pretty much what i do is drive to stores and stock soda. Sounds like cake huh. well it is untill you get a 7 pallet load of soda and have to make it fit in a area bigg enough for three pallets. All and all my...
yeah so i got some video i took today and i plan on making a video to post for ya guys, but the program i have takes like 20 mins. to transfer a 15 sec clip. So i wanted to know if any one could help me with a faster program.
I really dont know much about after market ecu's, but if i was to take a pick it would be hondata. It's very well known, from what their web site says all the "big boys" are using them and besides the price being on the high end it looks like they cover everything as far as ecu tuning. AEM IMO...
I live in southern cali so the problem with rain is the last on my mind. When it does rain i can and will change it to a short ram in about five mins. so theres no problem there. its been in the high 90's out here i dont need to worry about puddles and if i do run into one i can drive around...
y0 check it out! I did a seach on goggle for cold air intake and found a site that told how to make your own aem style cai for under 100$. it was a good site it had part numbers and everything for all that is needed. built mine work as good as any cai IMO. For race day i'm going to take the head...
if you already have the y8 head then port the angle down. If you dont then dont watse your time, just buy the z6. the time and money you would put into cutting that angle down on the y8 would make a bad ass z6 head. do a mild port job and put some money in to the valve springs and what not. Go z6
blah blah blah its all the same shit every other post. my first post still somes it up. Now i know your all about swaping and getting the most from your engine, but when you get there whats next...? for some of us grabing that last 1hp is not everything. instead we go to the next thing...
all this bitching about swaping body parts. hondaswap.com maybe it should be changed to hondaengineswap.com from the way you guys sound.
yea anyways I've been looking to swaping my head lights for teg ones (after my engine). If i use my corners i think all i would need is the hood and radirator...
you got me with the tunability. the starting power can be easily made up for with driver skills and or driver wieght. 4hp and 2tq. In this guys case i would say go ZC cause its easier then a sohc vtec, but your still going to do some wiring. its just sounds like he doesn't have much auto skill...
i dont know about saying far superior. The y8 flows better, but on the intake side one of the intake ports has an angel cut to it which makes the air swirl into the cyclinder. The swirl is good for ecomeny but i heard losses in high rmp power cause of it. people are porting the angel down to...
Fast and the furious was cool back in the day when I didn’t know jack shit about imports and wasn't too bad of a movie. This new 2F2F is just f'ing gay. When I see the previews I just change the channel. its to unbelievable but what ever. I couldnt think of reading anything about that damn...
think about what your saying. You want to keep you auto dx trany to be different so then you can be really different and swap with an HF engine. Swap down not up and you'd be real different. not to put you down or anything but your swaping to g faster ....right? you can swap to a zc  or...
singel cam zc = d16a6 ??? I didnt know i have a zc..... ....yeah right thats the SI engine code.
go singel cam vtec with SI trany and p28 ecu, build it up and beat b16's all day. Build right and keep up with the bigger engines. Your going to do the mpfi conversion so way not throw in...
