okay so i got the battery problem fixed i felt really stupied about where i had the battery cable that goes to the fuse box lmao i thought it was a ground of sorts lmao. but i still am working on the d4 light problem i have een able to test the car a little and damn does the car pull really...
okay so the car has been started and driven but my d4 light blinks 4 times which is for the VSS which i replaced and it still does it. and my battery light is on and my battery is not holding or being charged. i had the alternator checked and that was good. idk if the started would have...
i just finished my swap and im having tranny problems too but its most definitely the speed sensor cause my speed gauge doesnt work but i replace the motor and tranny together so im gonna swap my old speed sensor onto the new one and mine is auto as well and when i drove it it felt like it was...
ookay the motor is in the car finally and ive got almost everything done to get it started it took us about 6 hours with the swap it was a very tight squeeze to get the motor in im hoping to get it started tomorrow.
okay so the axles are out after not being able to try for the past month and i plan to have the motor out this saturday and if we have enough time we should be able to drop in the new motor and possibly have my car back on the road within the week after its almost 7 months off of it.
so i was messing around taking so stuff off the a1 that i have to swap over and i happend to look under the intake manifold to see that mine has the black box under it now i thought they only came on the a6 and i dont think the manifold was swapped.
damn thats fucked up man after a few attempts to but parts from ebay i learned that major parts ike that you are taking a risk on buying i well only buy small things off ebay now most like body parts or something for replacement but yeah i cant stand the people that state that their stuff works...
hmm i know in some cases the pt3 and pt6 run theses motors fine those are stock ecus from the 90-93 accords. as far as the reving when the motor is warm im not too sure why it would be doing that case one would think if there was a air pocket of sorts it would be doing that all the time so it...
hmm i maybe wrong but i dont think the ecus from the 94+ would run the car like the 90-93 do i mean they dont run the car as best as they could but i think the 90-93 ecus work better idk what type of ecu you have in yours? and have you checked all of your vaccum hoses among other things like egr...
damn i wish i could help you out with this cause im doing this swap at the moment but i cant get the axle bolts off what year accord are you doing this swap in and i dont think the stock ecu would make it run that sluggish but i would definitely say work on getting a newer ecu. if you have the...
with $600 at a time you can start by doing a simple tune up making sure everythings working properly and then checking other systems like the suspension/brakes so you can put the other mods to good use cause your suspension has to put the power to the ground. id then start with a better flowing...
yeah i do believe the prelude ones would be a bit bigger maybe close to the coupe accord. im not too sure on that though i owned one for a little while but never had to change the brakes. and he would have to get the calipers and everything else from the rear as you have stated brutal.
well still havent been able to get the axle bolts off but its also hard to try with a sprained foot but in the mean time im just searching around for the p39 ecu i called the company i bought the motor from and they dont have it and i checked ebay and didnt have any luck there either i dont...
ive always heard or seen other people using the sea foam but i didnt know what it would do wasnt sure if it cleaned anything or if people did it for the huge cloud it makes lol.
or he could take the brakes off a accord as well cause my accord has rear disc brakes idk if it was depending on the model in which you have cause mine is a 92 ex?
