    I bought the Honda insight

True about the sporty-ness of the fit. To meet crash regulations, they had to make the chassis EXTREMELY stiff, so its extremely nimble. When you toss it in a corner, it responds fantastically. As for the two cars thing, as long as I can fit my bike in the back, I'm happy. I found a pic...

    I bought the Honda insight

I love the fit. My mom has one, and I've driven it to a few races. Good gas mileage and a ton of room. One race I went to, I decided to go on the cheap, and parked the car at the race parking lot, had the bike and all my crap on one side of the car, and I slept on the other side. I actually...

    I bought the Honda insight

You have to realize that even if the gas mileage were equal (which they are not) an HF is at minimum, an 18 year old car. Honda's are great cars, and their engines do last forever, but any car that old would need a good amount of attention. Bushings, interiors, wheel bearings, ect all have a...

Well the vin number is 00062. In the first 2 years, it only had 1400 miles on it, however, the first carfax entry says "Tire repair at service facility" at 900 miles

    I bought the Honda insight

according to insightcentral.net, the going rate for a IMA system is around 3,000 installed, (2000 for parts ~ a grand for labor). In addition, honda has extended the warranty to 10yrs/150,000 miles on the IMA system for all states (before it was just some hot mountainous states) Since the car...

update, see post 34 Long time no see. For the few old guys who remember me, I've completely fallen out of the whole modding scene in favor of bike racing (as in pedal bikes). I've graduated from Michigan Tech, and have now joined the working class. Now for the question. I am looking to buy a...

Did 93 del Sols come with 2 diffrent keys?

Yea the valay keys were on later del Sol's, but on 93's it was only one. Talked to honda and they couldn't find a record of the rear trunk cylinder being replaced, so they had no clue what code it was. So I ended up drilling a hole behind the license plate so I could push the rod up and open the...

Did 93 del Sols come with 2 diffrent keys?

I'm driving a 93 del Sol and when I acquired the car, the owner gave me 2 keys, one for the trunk, and another for the rest of the car. Every other honda I have ever had has only had one key except for this one. Did all 93 del Sol's come like this, or did some previous owner just switch the...

    del Sol MAJOR Weight reduction

Its a little bit of both. Couldn't do it without the snowbank there. For our snow removal, we can get a foot of snow over night and by 8am, the roads are 95% cleared. Even during a bad snow storm, there is never more then 2 inches on the road at a given time. Got to love small towns.

    del Sol MAJOR Weight reduction

Actually, they don't use salt up here, because it wouldn't work most of the time (too cold) and just cause the roads to be even slicker. We just use sand. The white on the road is just snow/ice. Most roads and parking lots always have at minimum a bunch of hardpack snow, and rarely have anymore...

    Top gear coming to US

It would be sweet if they did it the Euro style where they actually tell the truth about the car, or find some way to insult it, but I don't see any manufacture sending add dollars their way if they actually did that. "So now were going to test this rubish cobalt. WTF is wrong with these brakes...

How was your holiday break? Bet mine was worse

Well it starts the week before Christmas. I was finishing up on the last few days of my internship, when I started to come down with something. I started to get fevers, bad head and muscle aches, glands swelled, and through got sore. I finally went to the doc the day after christmas. Turns out I...
