Actually this is my second turboed car. I had a 99 si with a drag gen 3 kit and I had no problems whatsoever. Thanks for your help though!! I'll try the bov!! :)
cool thanks guys!! :D Also I was just wondering about my wastegate. I have a 35mm tial with a 6 pound spring. When the wastegate senses full boost it lets out the extra right?? Or does it let all the boost out to where you dont get anymore? When I get in to the upper rpms I hear a woosh...
Just wondering if a turbo application is similar to nitrous. Do you have to compensate by retarding your timing and if so how many degrees per psi?? Thanks, Mike
Thanks for your help! I did notice that the pipe came off right away. It made a loud whoosh sound and I lost power. On the way home I could hear the turbo whining when I gave it kind of throttle. So hopefully it is just the size of the feed and return lines. Again thanks for your help :D ...
just wondering if it matters if the oil feed intake and return need to be straight up and down or not. I know its gravity fed but if its at an angle would that cause the problems??? Also the other night i was driving and one of my pipes came unhooked, was just wondering if that would cause...
I have a t3-t04b on my crx with a b16. Oil is leaking out of the turbo between the housing and the downpipe. I just did a full rebuild on the turbo and it stopped it for a little while. It is also going through the exhaust causing a lot of smoke. Anyone know why the oil would be leaking...
What I would do is buy the gsr and hold off on the turbo for about a month. That way you could save up your extra money to buy the turbo for the gsr. I think you will be happy with the power gains you will get with the gsr coming from a 98 ex. That should hold you off for atleast a month...
