Easiest is to just find a p30 and run the wiring for all the sensors. Or you will have to get a p28 that is chipped for a b16. If you want it to run its best.

No a p28 doesn't use a knock sensor, but its a d16z6 ecu, still requiring chipping to run a b16 properly.

The thing under your TB is the fast idle thermo valve. Can cause idle problems, not really cause driving problems. Check the fuel system and ignition first.

Sounds like its running stupid rich. This could be fault of the o2 sensor system. I had one do this a while back on me. Fuel injector code is triggered by the 02 sensor reading lean, system attempts to add more fuel, still reads lean, etc etc. It assumes your fuel pump is dying or fuel...

There are "spacer"washers on some injector/ fuel rail combo's The difference is not actually the injectors .. its the intake manifold. All fuel rails arent the same either.

No .. the easiest way to "wire up a swap liek yours" is to leave the existing wiring harness on the motor and plug it in. Everything plugs right up you just have that extra plug on the passenger shock tower side. Everything will run fine. Since i dont have a tach in my gauge cluster... i dont...

I wonder if the "1.5vtec" is a d15z1 .. or a d15b. I would be hesitant to run a p28 on a d15z1 unless underchipped haha.

If the fuel pump is dying, it could be pumping very little fuel, in which case it would take a pinch in the line to raise the pressure up enough. FPR is easier to check though. I recommend AEM.

Try pushing your throttle closed with your hand. You could have gunk in the TB that is keeping the butterfly from closing all the way so it is idling high. If that isnt the case, maybe you have a failing FPR. THat will cause your car to idle high.

Yes that is what it would do in effect. It would be close to the same thing as running the FPR without any vacuum source, just more drastic.

Dont do this. If you do the shaft of the tranny wont fit the disc properly. Cable trannies have smaller input shafts than hydro trannies. Make sure you get a disc that is for a CABLE tranny only. The flywheel and pressure plate doesnt matter. Im really not sure if the pilot bearing size is...

The sensor next to the oil filter is the oil pressure sensor. The knock sensor is above that.

It is with the other 3 on the passenger side. It has 3 wires going to it.

On the ITR wiring harness there is a 4th cannon plug. What does this go to? Everything runs fine without it plugged in. I have no CEL's .... what could it be?
