i have a 92 si hatch and the turn signals are giving me problems, sometimes they go on for a few flashes then turn off, sometimes they stay solid, sometimes they won't work at all, any ideas of what could be going on??? what can i do????

having trouble with my turn signals, it's like they have a mind of their own, sometimes they work perfect, sometimes they work but turn off after 2 blinks, sometimes, they go on but don't blink just stay on solid...sometimes they don't go on at all. Any ideas of what could be going on???
