right, this getting more costly as the minutes go by.... the only problem with the cams is the insurance on the car and i can only get spoon fitted (only place around here localy that i can justify to the boss)... i think then that i will stick to the exhaust, filter and ECU combo....

sweet, it's just that i can get all the parts fitted by spoon and tuned with there ECU, i'm not to strong on my fueling and timing yet.... so it would be one of the best options if money is good??

not a lot then, what would the hp at the flywheel be? standard 160bhp spoon parts fitted 180bhp?

sorry i think i should make myself clear when i want 200bhp not 200whp, i figure that with a hks exhaust + header + air intake i'll be at 180bhp with the ventrui plate from spoon, just short of 186bhp, using the aprexi vtec controller drop my vtec point to 3000 rpm and i should be good for 0-62...

Guys/Girls i lost to a Type R at the weekend and this may never happen again! i'm running a stock B16a engine in a 97 hatchback civic (ek4). i'm looking at tuning the engine to 200bhp + N/A. can anyone give me a starting point. i would love to buy mugen or spoon but they are very expensive here...

yes thats true, it's just that in england unless your rich and i mean rich you can't afford the insurance! thats a pain.... the thing is that the insurance is done on the amount of % increase to the engine. :angry: but i like the idea of the intercooler on the front of the accord looks nice! :D

so the general rule of thumb is choose which one you prefer... turbo or sc is there no way of tighting the belt on the jrsc? do they use the "V" pulley system? if so could you not change the pulley to a "toothed" pulley? :D

oil the SC, nah some companies use a little oil on the belt when they've just changed it. any other time the belt will slip. not what you want, anyone know if the vortech has a toothed pully kit instead of the v-pully system..... oh and to answer the question do i like the idea of the SC making...
