okay i know im not in the right thread but can anyone shed some info on this! i just got a 96 prelude mt. 2.2 non vtec and it will not rev past 3000 rpms. now i check the codes and i have a bad cps but would that not let it rev past 3k!!! what else should i look at? it dose not miss start up...

so i got a 96 prelude mt 2.2 sohc and it will not rev over 3100 rpms. thought it was in limp mod pulld codes and i have the cps code will that cause the motor not to rev over 3000. any one have any idia on this could it be the tps?????

okay i swaped the d15z1 out of a friends hatch for a d15b8 but the wiring harness that came with the motor did not have any wiring for the map sensor and its throwing the code for it and wasting hella gas so i wanted to know if anyone new the easyest way to wire the map sensor to the car!!!

:confused:okay i just did a swap with my friend because his d15z1 droped a valved and its fried .... so we did a d15b7 beacuse it had a about 10 more horses but its running real shitty when u hold the rpms at like 3 grand and lit it sit there at that rpm it sounds like its htting a rev limiter...

so are the door panels out of a 92 civic hb the same as a 92 coup. let me know asap

okay i have been working on a prelude and for some reason it will not ideal it will rev from 1200rpms to 2200 rpms... i have replace almost all the sensors off of the intake..what could be making it do this... once you rev passed the 2200 rpms the car is smooth and runs great just when you come...

okay is there any way to remove the rev limiter by cut or grounding a wire coming out of the wiring harness i have b18 and it only hits 6500 rpms HElP

ok does any one know were the ristor box is on a 92 civic hb. i did a b18a1 swap on it and i think the ristor box is missing my car up since i am using the stock injector out of the tegg. is there any way to bi pass the ristor box??
