I started my b16 turbo for the first time last night in about 4 months cuz ive been building it....ran a little boggy at first while idling but came out of it...idled nice...when i'd get the r's up it would smoke a little out of the valve cover and the pcv cuz i had to re-rout it so it would go...

so i got my motor together and in the car....added oil...cranked it over. and looked like exhaust gasses were coming out of the valve cover...and i have a terrible oil leak between the block and head on the tranny side....wondering if its cuz the head bolts are torque to yeild and the head isn't...

so im finishing up my turbo build and im about to install everything...just not sure how to hook up the external wastegate...i dont have a boost controller right now so im wondering if i hook up the vacuum line to the bottom niple or the upper nipple and where i go from that...? appreciate the...

:confused::confused::confused:I have a b16...i am turboing it. i got and eagle crank low compression pistons, and i just got eagle h-beam connecting rods...the problem is that the connecting rods are designed for floating wrist pins. my low compression pistons are designed for pressed fit wrist...

K, im rebuilding my B16 because im boosting it, and all i got low compression pistons, and an eagle crankshaft. So all i need left is the connecting rods. Whell...i found a set of used eagle connecting rods with 2K miles on em'. there really cheap...is it worth it? or should i just get brand new...
