In the hope that someone out there is parting out a civic/del sol with a D16Z6, OBD1 P28 ecu, I'd like your interior wiring harness connectors. I'd appreciate it if you cut it about 4-6 inches back so I have some wire to solder in for my old harness.
I'm asking on a couple of other forums and...
I have a line on a tilt steering column from a Del Sol that I think will fit in my hatch. Tilt steering would be nice, but not that big of a deal really....so I was just wondering if anyone knows for certain if it will fit.
Thanks!
I want to find one so I can drop it in my hatch. Ebay has a couple at some outrageous prices.... Might be interested in a OBD1 to 0 adapter but I know I can just repin the connectors so that's not a big deal.
Thanks!
....or find some other way to use it?
I just read through the installation manual and it's obvious that it's designed to be used with an ecu that already has a vtec engagement setup. I'm currently running a mini-me swap (entire engine though, not just the head) in my '90 hatch. I used a '91...
I want/need (both of which apply) to get a center console and armrest for my '90 hatch but I can't find any at the local 'yards. Does anyone know what years will be viable for other civics....hatch or sedan....or for what year 'teg I can use?
I found a site that shows how to do the 'teg...
I'm probably in the wrong forum but since it is a swap vehicle it can't be too wrong. It's late and I just got back from a round trip of about 150 miles. Temperature outside is about 28 degrees......cold, Michigan weather, and it's too late to work on it right now.
Anyway, I drove to my...
My question is this....I'm currently running sort of a mini-me hybrid (Z6 engine from a '95 with the intake/distributor/ecu from a '91 Si), in my '90 hatch and it just doesn't have the acceleration I want. With the 40cc p/h injectors and the Si fuel map, I'm not taking advantage of the VTec so...
There's a junk yard I go to that has a very nice pair of Probe seats that I'm seriously thinking of getting....multiple power controls and they just look sweet! Look sorta like a competition seat with the upper headrest area framed as part of the seat with an opening in that area. I can...
I've gone by all the articles I can find both here and elsewhere, and I can't seem to find what ecu wire controls the AC clutch relay. I swapped in a '95 D16Z6 into a '90 hatch (std), using a '91 Si ecu (PM6) to control it all, but according to the pinouts the wire that should pull in the AC...
I did a D16Z6 swap into a non-Si car and I completely re-did the wiring harness. In order to pull in the VTec I used an autometer tach and had the shift light pull in the solenoid. I posted this problem the other day but changing the wire that I used on the shift light seemed to cure the...
Quick question..........just finished wiring my swap and ran it without the VTec solenoid wired in....she ran great! But when I added the VTec solenoid (positive signal) it would hit the setpoint and just bog down. I'm using a 5" Autometer monster tach and using the shift light signal to...
Is it possible to put the rear discs and trailing arms from a '94 teg into a '90 hatchback? I heard '90-93 would fit....just wondering if I can get lucky and have a '94 fit. Any ideas? Thanks!
I thought it was impossible to put a dual cam head on a D16 block....but I just found one in an Integra. I think the year was 88-91 or so....it's been a few days and I've forgotten to ask about it until now. It's sitting in a junkyard WAAAY out in the back along a fence with another 'Teg that...
I was comparing the existing wiring in my '90 hatch and most of it doesn't seem to correspond to the color/ecu pinout in the chilton book. I'm using the 84-95 civic/crx/delsol manual if that makes a difference. I've picked out some of the wiring diagrams on the 'net which show a LOT of...
From the beginning.........this started as a D16Z6 full engine swap into a '90 HB (std). I bought both the car and the Z6 from a kid and I knew full well the wiring that was involved in the swap. That's no big deal. I just got the engine in the car today when I noticed the distributor slots...
