why i can't use the wiring harness from my car??can i at least alter it to make it work?? i want to make the swap as easiest as possible,i may be getting a obd1 b18c1,since i don't want to change the wiring harnes and buy a another ecu, any sugestions???

2000gsr skunk 2 im iceman intake dc 4-1 header and catback with no cat fpr set at 44psi ignition timing at 18 degrees best et.14.7 best mph. 94.9 i was thinking ,skunk stage 1 cams and vafc,what do you all think??
