I'm curious to see if I'm right. You said you replaced all the basic stuff already. So my guess is still check the compression next. A tester is realy cheap at Autozone and only takes 5 min. I purchased an ls with 160,000 miles. Shortly after startig to rag on the car, it started cutting out...
Here's my two cents. You said you had a b20z. b20zs are higher compression than my b20b4. If you used b20b Dish pisons or even a 2.5 mm turbo head gasket you'd be on the safer side and able to bumb the boost slighly higher. A head gasket change is about as easy as it gets.
