Okay i almost got my 89si b16 runnig just did the swap.. First i would like to thank everyone for the help to get to this point.
My car was idiling really bad and my car was in limp mode. I replaced all the sensors including iac vavle.. my car idle's way better now but its in still limp mode...
I have a 89crxsi with a b16a od1 swap and im wondering if anyone knew exactly how many o2 senors are there suppose to be and the location of them? Not sure if there one or two
well i made alot of progress but from other friends who know the person i got the car from tell me the guy who i got the crx from had some one do the wiring on the swap and he had no idea what he is doing
it was given a good tune up when the swap was done it has alot if new parts... thing is it was never runnign after the swap was done... people who did it did not know what they were doing
for the most part always go hydro.. b18 are great and if you got the money go for it... but b16 are great motors and theres tones of parts for them at great prices.. the motor it self is a good price too
i just bought and took over someone elses project... a 1988crx si with a b16a motor with a ls tranny... very proud new owner i love it and i will do everything it takes to get it running but the person i bought it from did the swap and never got it running.... it starts if u spray carb spay into...
whats up to all the crx owners ...well im new to this thing and i just got my first crx this week with a b16a. excited.... Im sure im gonna love it just as much as everyone else who owns one. just hoping i will fit in and help and get help and enjoy being part of the crowd...
