Looks like a good deal, but FYI - that is not the official headset of the NFL. That (the NFL one) is made by Telex (branded, or more rented for advertisement space, by Motorola) and looks very different. Telex is one of our sister companies.

My Turtle Beach x4's may be expensive but it was more than worth the cash.
 
I dont care who makes it as long as it works. Under 10 bucks FTMFW

Plus I hate how all the new MS headsets have the volume/mute midway down the cord VS on the controller where it plugs in.
 
Then get a wireless headset where the mute/volume is all up on the ear piece. Takes all of a half second to reach up and press a button. PLUS there is no cord to get tangled into anything. :)

I like the mute/volume on the controller since it allows you to adjust it without removing your hand from the controller.

I do have a wireless headset it was much more then 9 bucks and IMO sound quality wasn't anything near as good as the wired ones. It had a tinny sound to it and I always hear it also sounds weird on the other side.

regardless I justs picked up a new headset for 9 bucks so I'm happy.
 
Whatever floats your boat. :) Wireless is definitely more expensive, but I figure at some point woot will have some for cheap as well then you'll buy one and have wasted this 9 bucks when you realize you can walk around and not have to take the controller with you while you go to get something to drink. :p

guess you missed that part, I've had one for like 3 years now. I never use it.

The only thing more annoying then the xbox 360 controller's batteries dying all the time is the battery life on the wireless headsets.
 
Yeah and the charging cord has been known to die too, which is why, in the distant future, when woot has one for cheap you might pick up another one. lol

Thats all I was trying to say. :)
