I just finished my h22a swap into my '91 accord w/ tranny conversion from auto to 5 speed. It runs great except for a knocking or thumping sound. It only makes the sound when I accelerate into a turn from a stopping position. I'm thinking it might be my coil over springs are moving around making the noise because of my lsd tranny makes my car vibrate when accelerating into turns... I think. Another assumption is that it could be the motor mounts. The mounts may be too week for the powerful motor causing the motor to shift excessively making metal to metal contact. I'm not sure how to check for this problem.
