ive learned to spell parts of my phone number now like 5-3-zero because of this. i think its illegal too if you ask them to remove it and they dont or to even send spam text? because receiving text costs you money?

i have gotten a handful of spam texts and i am always careful to spell out part of the number
i never reply with stop or anything like that because then it just confirms the number is good
although i suppose a txt that fails to be bounced back already confirms the number is good.

not so true, not all carriers will bounceback that the number is not valid.
