Autometer Tach

I have a student installing an autometer tach in his 96 civic and we are wondering where to splice the green lead wire. The wire only has about 5 inches of slack on it so it needs to be near the fire wall if possible.

you'll have to extend it through the firewall, there is a connector near the brake master cylinder that you can splice into. i forget the color of the wire, maybe someone else will know? you should be able to find it though, its a wire that is not plugged into anything
