if it is a b18b, it could be the jdm ctr and with lsd, but if you buy it used, they could switch the tranny.

im not sure where the kid got it from(im looking to buy it off some teen locally) , but the one on my car right now has lsd, and i want to make sure that his is too.

wait, if it's a b18b1 it's a u.s. and doesn't have lsd. it's an old tranny.

if i was you, i would just get a u.s. b16 or gsr tranny and pull the lsd out of your ITR.

i wld, but im getting the tranny for 100$ so i can at least drive the car..

thats cheap. make sure you pop it open and make sure there isn't syncro soup in it.

supposedly the kid says all the syncro's are great, but you cant ever trust other peoples opinions.. he says if it grinds in any gear he'll give me a new tranny... (im guessing he has alot of them ?)

hell, if he has a lot, find one with lsd.

oh, and make sure the b18b1 is a hydraulic tranny. it might be cable. and run the vin on it. you dont' want to get stolen parts. that might be why it's so cheap.

its a hydro tranny, i already asked, and idk what the vin is but ill check it when i get it, it could be why he has so many (might be stolen?)...

could be. what i have done in the past is get a bill of sale and his drivers licens info. that way if you get caught with it, you can save yourself by selling him out. otherwise it's his ass, not yours.

yeah, but the only thing is , is that the kid doesnt have his license anymore, lol he got it revoked when he was lasered , doing 110 in a 45..

he has some sort of id. even if your license is revoked, you still keep it as id.

anyways, do whatever you want. you don't exactly have to do that. just check his id, get his phone number and address. cya.
