I have two civics a 91 hatch daily driver and a 90 4-door parts civic.I n order to remove the c.v. axles the manual says to raise the locking pin on the axle nut depending on which model.it doesn't specify what the pin looks like , which models it's on, or how to raise it
. on my axle nuts the inner part of the nut has sort of a flange that protrudes out along the threads. at the end of the threads where the nut is attached there is a groove that the flange on the nut appears to be pressed in to keeping me from removing the nut how do i get this piece of metal out of the fucking way to replace my axle? thanks again for any help
how do you get this god forsaken axle nut off!
