What the hell goes through someone's mind that makes them think, "eh.... i think ill stab thi stranger to death and then cut off his head and show everybody"...

Ya i saw it too. Crazy, especially when the person seems and has been normal for most of his life. Stuff like this rarely happens here. Makes you think who can you trust. Also to never, ever fall asleep on a long trip puplic bus.

God man, I'm pretty well 22. Could have been me, a friend, anyone.
 
All you need is your hands. Almost anything used creatively can kill someone. But yes gun restriction does help out.
 
Yup, if any person on that bus had a gun, the quotes would read "this guy was stabbing this other guy who was screaming, then he got blown away."

Actually, realistically, the guy who shot the stabber would have inevitably ended up in jail on murder charges. Well, maybe not in canada, I dunno.
 
The only ray of hope in a murder trial in Canada is that a "life sentence" is only 25 years, and possible parole depending.
 
Thats worse than the US. I know a case where a guy stabbed his wife to death, then ran his three year old daughter over with his truck, then piled them up and ran them both over repeatedly.

He did three years.
 
My god, this world we have created is just making us all go insane. Especially to your own family.

At that, I don't agree with the 3 strikes law.
