Cat. Converter Question

I got the original honda cat converter on my 95 Civic DX and it feels mad restrictive. I wanna go high flow so i need some ideas on which brands are good. I'm looking to buy a direct fit one too.

Personally I would just get a cheap one that fits your application for like $30 from Ebay.

those are actually resonators or test pipes. Not CARB and 99% of the time won't pass a sniffer

If you want a real cat get a real high flow cat. High flow cats will still have baffles and all the other garbage in it but will flow better as well as doing it's job and keeping your car a little quieter.


When I finally do make my exhaust for the Audi, it will has a real 3" cat, and probably a resonator AKA "hi flo cat"

Hmm Thanks for the info but do you know a good direct fit I dont wanna put up welding plus my exhaust is a Tanabe cat back and dc headers so i dont wanna mess with the piping

buy a universal one, take it to a shop, and have them weld flanges on it, DONE.

If you don't want to spend the extra cash on that. Muffler/exhaust shops won't charge much to weld a flange and and extension on.
