hey guys so i just picked up this y8 head. its been ported and polished. came with a crower stage2 turbo cam and springs and titanium retainers. it currently has stock valves so im ordering crower valves. im planing on about 14 psi to 18 psi. should i get oversized valves or stick with stock size?
 
stock is probably fine. if you go larger, you probably will have to do more machine work to match (ie, 3-angle)
 
cost wise its the same for the valves. would it be worth the machine cost to go ahead and over size them? im already dropping 300 for the valves.
 
I would talk to someone who knows about the port job that the head has had- you could screw it up by resizing the valve seats for the larger valves. Larger usually is better for flow, but not always. Research before you jump.
