Here is my question:
I was working on my e-brake and noticed there is a clip that is grounded and a button. When the e-brake is up the wire is grounded and the e-brake light is on in the dash, but when the e-brake is released the button gets pushed and somehow shorts the ground and the e-brake light on the dash goes off. I broke the clip so my light stays on even when I put the brake down. Are there any problems that I could have by doing this? Will the ecu do anything while driving etc?

Thanks
Khai

Nah man. All it's there for is to send a signal to the light in your instrument panel. Not gonna hurt your performance any.
