Any one here used Hondata with the "3 step rev limiter- Launch control and full throttle shift" option? is it worth the 125$? seems like it works.

Same here- got it, but I never had a chance to install and configure it before the pistons went poof again...

I know that pills had the full throttle shift, not sure about the launch control, but he was a big fan of that.

what is full throttle shifts??

does it like drop rpm exactly to what it supposed to be when it get in gear without letting go the gas?

oh yeah and why is it bad to just hold the gas while you shift?

A simplistic way to describe it is when you push the clutch in while activated, it puts a tempearary rev limiter during shifts, making one less thing for you to do wrong. Computers > humans.

Since you edit yours, I will edit mine.

It is bad to just hold the gas and shift without it for a few reasons. One, if you do that, your going to have your revs shoot up ever shift, then shoot back down when your transmission slows it down. This results in tremendus shock on both your engine and your transmission.

oooo ok now i see... alright no more powershifting for me...

wait.. i was thinking if that shock from powershifting is so bad then isnt the launch even harder on the engine and transmission cuz its from like 4000 rpm to dead stop??
