i was wondering how to best store an engine if it will be a couple months before i can put it in my car

go to crapy tire and byt a can of ant rust spray and coat it also dont drain the oil replcace it with clean oil so there is somthing in there to protect the internal parts

and remember to drain the oil and replace with NEW oil before you start the motor after you install it. This of course is after it's been stored for a while

ok thanks cause i dont have the time to do the swap now cause im startin football amp so it will robally be like two or three months

haha yeah the money part is cool but hey it pays for my college so i guess it save me money in a way. but thanks for the help il mae sure to keep it covered up

If your just storing it for a couple months, it will be fine as is, as long as it isn't in a humid place. Mine sat in my basement for a couple and was fine. Do you think that all the places on line do anything special, or junkyards? I've seen motors sit for months and months and they are fine.
