HX Tranny on anything...

How does the HX tranny work and would that tranny work on any D series motor? Not really interested in doing this, but I was just thinking about it. If this is dumb, I'm sorry. Just want to learn a little.

the manual HX tranny is just a manual tranny with really long gears, the automatic is a CVT tranny, im not exactly positve how it works, but basically the tranny uses belts and pully's to constantly change the gear ratios for however you are accelerating. it would but up, but if the auto would work, its tough to say
