It was a fun little bastard, but it was no Civic:

Some inside hints on the new project:

Got the shell last thursday and immediatly took it apart

Its an 00
It'll be a clone
The motor is (more than) worthy of the color

and yes, the interior was pulled, the jambs and trunk match, and we did a black engine bay (pulled the old motor and started assembeling the parts for new one while it was in the booth..it'll go out for full assembly/tuning to the same place the ITR went)

My old boss let me rape the yard over the weekend too...lots of nice "touches" going into this one

Basicly I'm going for a nice car, that I'm proud of, and will keep for more than a few months

anyway, this is what I'm giving up for right now:

I'll bring it to CT in the spring :)

please tell me those arent apc seats! They look like apc's or corbeau's.

tell us, itr or ctr motor?

Its an old Corbeau...just so someone can sit in/steer it while we push it around.

As far as the motor, so far I've got a 98 B18B block with an 00 GSR head, ECU, and tranny (and obviously a GE LS/Vtec kit on the way)...an LSD is def in the plans

I'm looking at piston, cam, and intake combo options...those are TBA ;)

Niceities already bought/installed/in my possesion:
Red carpet (installed)
CTR door panels w/red inserts (installed)
POWER doors (painted/installed)
Pageing alarm AND LoJack (pageing waiting to go in/LoJack is already in)
Si cluster (installed)
Black housing headlights (waiting to go in)
CTR side skirts (painted/installed today)

...you have no idea how tempting it is to rape the ITR for the suspension right now. The paint came out VERY nice.

although, the 5 lug swaps are coming down in $$ a bit...we'll see once its running

6 months?....probably more like 9 (I'd like to bring it out this summer) :)
