what do you use?
we currently have to mirror an entire share between two facilities. this works great, until things happen and we have to stop DFS. most of the time it will catch back up and continue to mirror but more often than not lately when the DFS goes down for more than a day and we bring it back up, files/permissions start to disappear from both the source and target servers. lucky for me i keep fucking stellar backups.
do any of you use in house file deduplication or some sort of enhanced storage outside of standard MS shares with permissions / accessed based enumeration?
