The Trisexual
Listen to this shit.
I go to work...just like any other normal day no big deal. Anyway, like an hour before I'm about to leave my friend asks if he could borrow "the civic" to go to the store. I said whatever as long as he just puts a quart of oil in that POS, since it needed it anyway. This kid brings in back, it looks fine and runs fine. I didn't think I'd have to look under the hood. Well, I start driving, get into the bumper to bumper traffic on the belt parkway (about 2 miles from my work) and notice a little smoke coming from the front of the car, at first I thought it was the beater's exhaust that was in front of me. So I pull off at the next exit just to make sure. Guess what I discovered at the front of the car...OIL completely covering the front bumper and the entire engine bay. When I said in my other post that the engine bay was covered, it was nowhere near as bad as this. hmmm. Can you guess what this motherfucker forgot? Yup, he forgot the oil cap. I was mad as hell, cause there were no auto parts stores around for me to buy a cap. I borrowed one from someones POS that had broken down, it was from some fuckin toyota. It didn't fit but I said fuck it, it's better than nothing. Drive from Queens to Elizabeth then finally pull over and go to an auto parts store.

Morals of the story is, one don't let your idiot friends touch any part of the engine. And two, Hondas really can take a lot of abuse. And to be honest with ya'll it actually runs better now then it did before I drove 20 miles with no oil cap and oil shooting all over the damn place. One somewhat decent thing happened to the car though, the exhaust didn't fall off yet today.

I know this is a completely pointless thread and if this was your idiotic friend you never would have let him touch your shit in the first place.

It took me like an hour and a half to clean try and clean all that shit up. And i believe the oil leakage is coming from the head gasket...does this make sense?

:fosho3:

I know it, but it was completely my fault. I never should have let a retard put oil in my car.

:werd: that much oil all over you engine bay...fire waiting to happen.

at least you learned you lesson....i never let anyone drive my cars without me in them...cept for my wife and brother.

sadly enough, my girl has done the same thing- thank god it was to the pink integra, not that i EVER let her drive the civic anyway

Especially since you are 17... I will let select friends drive and work on my cars, but they are not teenagers and they drive and wrench on their cars well. People without a good history of owning or driving cars don't get the same privileges.

He does work on cars, he's 19 and he built a '68 Nova or something like that. It runs 11's. He'd be the last person I thought would forget an oil cap.

I cleaned most of it up, when i finally get my swap, it will be completely degreased and painted.

Think of it as a rust inhibiting bath.

That's a good way to think of it. Now only if it were on the rear QPs.

Smear grease on the lip of the wheel well.

No, he wants to buy the car. He wants to get back into imports.

The LS-swapped civic is gone, its a damn shame. I loved that car.

I'm not too concerned, it's just the CX engine, I could always get another d-series if anything happens.
