need info on motor

i just got a vx motor for free it runs and everything but i dont know the hp or the torque what should i do to get more power out of it i have a spare z6 head would that make a difference

Z6 head will make no difference (not to mention the VX has some things the Z6 didn't like an oil cooler that make swapping it a pain), the VX motor is hopeless, don't waste a dime on it.

the exhuast manifold is helpful for turbo. isnt it like an HF manifold?

Yes, it's two piece with the break in the front for the cat.

well when i got the motor it didnt have the manifold but i already have one cool
so theres nothing to do to this crap of engine then?
what about the hf swap with the 16v head how would that work ive been reading about it but im confussed i thought the exhaust valves wont clear the pistons so would it work
any info would help
