Okay heres the scenario, I dropped a d16z6 into my 96 ek coupe that originally had a d16y7 which was originally OBD 2a. I'm using all OBD 1 components on the motor from starter to distributor to alternator, as well as the OBD 1 wiring harness. Heres the question, I have both parts of the OBD 1 harness as well as my stock OBD 2 engine harness, where does the engine harness interface with the interior harness (the wires that run the guage cluster, switches, and HVAC controls? I cant remember. Also is it as simple as hacking that plug off my OBD 2 harness and frankensteining (soldering it of course) it on the new OBD 1 harness? Somebody help. My built d16 turbo motor needs wiring
