If I run p30 pistons in my GSR with the thickness of OEM 3-layer headgasket the compression will be about 11.599. If I went with a 1-layer headgasket the compression will read 12.272.

Is it safe to go with 1-layer gasket or should I stay with the OEM 3-layer?

Also with that compression, either the 11.599 or 12.272... will 92 octane gas be sufficient?

im using a 1 layer head gasket on my itr right now. no problems as of yet, but my CR is only 11.1:1. i run 93 but have run it on 91 octane and its fine. if you are gonna run the one layer head gasket, make sure that you tune the engine well, with either a vafc, or hondata, etc.
