Port And Polish

What is the difference between a regular port and polish and a stage 2 port and polish? Also, what exactly is a 3 angle valve job? What do all of things actually do for the performance of your vehicle and most importantly, how much do they cost?

it cost alot on money if you want it done professionally. The whole reason is to extract as much air into the cylinder chamber by porting the intake side of the head. They make the ports much bigger and grind the devider for maximum air flow. They dont polish that side so that the air fuel mixture can be premixed better. They polish the exhaust so the ehaust leaves the engine much faster.The difference between stages is obvious. The higher the more drastic the job. Although its not always better depending on what you plans are for you motor. Like turbo or all motor. Normally the allmotor engine would need more attention.
