I'm thinking about ordering the JDM rear disc conversion from the 92-95 civic Sir. (which comes with the proportioning valve) :) I was wondering if the rotors and the pads are the same as the 92-95 civic Si, so when I replace 'em, I'll know what to get. Also, I want to get an Integra GSR or Type-R master cylinder. I was wondering if I could use my CX brake booster or will I have to get the Integra one also. Thanks for all your help! :worthy:

Yup, the rear setups should be the same.

Nope, you can't use your stock booster with an Integra master cylinder- you'll have to swap to the Integra one or go with a 90-91 Civic EX master cylinder. The "ears" are clocked opposite between the Civic and the Integra.

Is the 90-91 EX better than my CX booster and master cylinder. Did the 90-91 EX come with rear discs?

Will only 90-91 EX booster and master cylinder work or can I get one from say a... 92-95 EX, Si or 96-00 EX, Si? If so, are they as big or bigger than the 90-91?

Thanks again!

Anyone? Cuzz there's a bunch more 92-00 civic's at the junk yards around here than older one's...

not 90.

JUST 91

and ONLY the 4-door sedan EX. the 2-door doesn't have the right part.

it uses a 15/16" master cyl, bolts to the stock EG booster and hardlines w.o bending.

you can pick up a remanu unit from autozone for $45 + core charge (just shove your cx one in the box... good enough)
