question about vtec solenoid?

to my understanding i heard vtec solenoids are interchangeable? can you swap one from a h22 to a b18c? are there any gains?

I don't know if you can put one from an h22 on the b18c, but I do know that you can use a d16z6 or any other d series solenoid on the b series engines, I have done it, there is no gain or loss, all it is is a soleniod that opens an oil passage to engage vtec, there is no way to get a gain from it.
