Fresh Kid Ice, a founding member of the Miami hip hop group 2 Live Crew, has died at 53.

His manager DJ Debo confirmed his Thursday death to USA TODAY but did not provide details as to the cause.

I remember listening to this stuff in Middle School. I thought it was insane that there was music that had lyrics as raunchy as this, but we loved it. haha

the funny thing to me is remembering the outrage and terror parents had at this stuff, and then going back and hearing it today is kinda "meh", there are R&B and pop songs worse than this
