random broken sensor?

I have a couple of sensors on the block that aren't connected to anything. I have pics, but can't post or link to the site due to insufficient posting.

It would be great if anybody wants to link posts for me​

any idea on what these two sensors might go to? The car runs fine, but not sure if it overheating, but just blew high on NoX for emissions testing.

cant really tell where they are located in your pics but im going to take a wild guess and say its on the lefthand side as youre looking into the bay and a little bit lower than your head and temp sensor. if your temp guage works then i am wrong

the grey plug is your vtec pressure switch and the green one is for the vtec solenoid

I'll try and get new pics.

I don't think the heat temp sensor works. It seems to always run hot by the sensors reading, but doesn't acutally overheat.

The check engine light and the oil light are also on. There is plenty of oil and pressure seems normal.

So if they are the vtec sensors and switch, what kind of issues am I looking at? The thing runs, but obviously these are supposed to be connected to something.

they should be connected to the corresponding spots on the ecu.
