Ssautochrome slam twisted mani

Has anybody heard of anything wrong with the ssautochrome slam twisted manifold? Wanted 2 see if it was any good cause my manifold juss cracked and need a new 1 any input would help thanx

Eldelbrock is awesome, um there are others but I've herd alot about eldelbrock

in the price point of the SSauto/ebay crap, you're only other option is a cast/log mani. anything else is going to cost significantly more money.

The ssautochrome 1 I was looking at is 300 and looks way better made then the cheaper 100 dollar 1.. But I don't really like the cast 1s and edelbrock makes that 1.. I found some rev hard race manifold for around 500

You're better off with a nice handbuilt log mani. If you are cheap enough to consider ssautochrome, your setup wouldn't benefit from a ramhorn because it won't require the flow capacity. What size turbo are you running?

besides ramhorns will crack, it a matter of when not if. Cast holds the heat much better and the welds are serious weak points. When you heat a metal (like welding) it anneals the metal which changes the molecular structure. Basically hardening the metal to the point that the heating and cooling will cause cracks. The cheaper they are the sooner they will crack.

The thing is I didn't crack on any of the flanges it cracked on 1 of the actual runners.. So maybe I can re-weld?
