like i said fast fully loaded. im sure you can understand that. from a gutted hatch to a sti. me a gutted hatch to a.... im not 100% positive but i would need to sell everthing with hondas and my bike. still way up in the air

let me know if you want to sell the bike.... i've been thinking about it

I might drift a 1987 Mustang. You merely say "Moisture" to the car and the rear tires begin to spin.

I'm with Cel on that one. It's a wonder why the older foxbody 5.0's haven't been used in the latest drifting craze.

Yeah, the mustang cannot drift, I mean - an 05' Mustang only WON the D1GPUSA.

I'd rock an older foxbody with some mods, a set of Wats and a single exit exhaust. Thats actually been one of my fantasies for a long time.

because everyone who owns one is a :mullet: and into drag racing.

uh... no, no they aren't :mullet: However the car is built better for drag racing. What you said is just like a Domestic owner coming here and saying we're all ricers.

Because mustang and independent rear suspension dont go together :p

5.0s don't have IRS, and as far as I know neither do SN95-06 V6s or GTs, (I could be wrong, but I don't think I am) only Cobras had IRS.

lol. they are jsut using it for its intended purpose, like whenever you hear stories or compare something to an M3 you stress how its not a drag car. So all the people who own em are pompous assholes who are into road racing.

Even the new Shelby Cobra wont get IRS either . . . Ford stated that it wants to keep it a "mustang" eventhough its gonna have extensive upgrades to the motor.

What do these run stock for power figures??

Quoted post[/post]]
I believe they put out around mid 2's to the wheels stock...

Nah, most actually put down almost the rated crank HP down to the wheels in 100% stock form.

98-00 had 305 01-02 had 310 for the Z/TA. 310 to 325 for the SS/WS6. Even though that really doesn't matter, because LS1s are notorious for being underrated by GM anyway. A base C5 will dyno close to the same as the rest of the LS1 models as far as rwhp/tq.

:werd:

Like the brand new SRT-4 that I watched put down 225whp when it was just released- when it was rated for only 215hp at the crank. Same deal on the LS-1.

no shit, just get a WS-6 and do some bolt ons, those things are sexy.

but be warned, my friend did that and he was still getting beat down by modded SRT-4's, he didn't like to talk about it

Eh, I was trashing WS-6s in the Civic a few years ago. Easy.

:werd: and :werd:

Only the last generation's Cobras had IRS, and that was a weird bolted in setup that went in place of the live axle in the rear. You could swap them in and out if you really wanted to (I think). No other production Mustang has had IRS.

:withstupid:

Starting with the 00 cobra R, the Cobras had IRS... and as long as you have a 99-04 V6/GT you could swap the IRS into them... this goes for 01 and 03-04 Cobra IRS setups as well.
