I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to tell what car this transmission came in. It is off of ebay and the picture shows the tranny with a sticker that says"Y80-1068376" Is there any way to tell if this is a gsr tranny? Please let me know thanx.

I looked at that article too but it also listed the "ls/rs/gs-S80 or Y80" So how can I tell the difference? Please help!!!

You can't really tell by the label- transmissions are labeled by chassis code, not engine type or car trim level. To be completely sure, you would have to match the label to a VIN in Honda's database. You can always count the teeth on the gears...

ehh, maybe not a gsr then, maybe its an ls.
