Supose that money is not an issue... Which motor is better for bosting... b18c5 or B18c1... i want a b18c5 jus cause of the name but wondering if b18c1 is better 4 boost? REMEMBER MONEY IS NOT INCLUDED IN UR DISCISION

b18c5 will have more power in the long run since money is not an option.

If you're getting a b18c5 for the name, just restamp ur d block and give me the extra money u saved.

In the long run there is nothing you can do to a B18C5 that you cant to a C1....Either or, both engines are great candidates. Personally, I would go for a C1 just for the price break. Both are 1.8L DOHC VTEC engines....money can make both fast. If you need the name, just get a red valve cover and a diffrent intake manifold....no one will know the diffrence.

So ya...GSR for sure....leave the Type-R's to the all-motor auto-X guys.
