What Engine Is This And Is It Worth A Crap

i have a chance to get my hands on a E12 what ever that is the guy puled it and only wants $150 for entire engine/trany but what is it and what will it fit in

E- Class Honda motor it is Carburated, hmmm a 1984 Civic Std, has a EV1 motor, if that tells you anything.

yea i know its carbed it actually has 2 carbs but what size is the block and cae it be converted to efi

not all E-series are carbed...
EW4 from the 86-87 crx si is injected...

That said, i think 150 bucks is a rip off. you can pick up a z6 swap for that price if you look hard enough.

Ya the EW3 from the 85 and 86 Civic/CRX Si's are MPFI.... the 87 CRX Si was a D15A3
