Here you go my friend. It is the second page, step by step.
http://media.honda.co.uk/car/owner/m...l/400/5-12.pdf If you bought the right size belt it will fit, stretching isn't going to work. The adjustment bolt will allow you to move the pully so you can fit the new on over it. Last edited by Korax; 08-09-2008 at 02:57 PM. |

If everyone would just stop talking to him, me included, he'll maybe be forced to go buy one or bug someone else who has time to baby his ass... I like the accord forum and this guy has ruined it...

Clearly you don't get the joke.... And i'm not sure if anyone's used this direct wording yet, but... You're working on a car. If you want the easy way out, hire a professional. You are gonna find stuff that's alot more complicated than this. You're going to need a manual. You'll find a lot of answers there. And as Blanco said. We can't/won't help you unless you're willing to help yourself. If we keep spelling it out for you in the simplest of terms you'll never learn what these things are. Now as for the leak, you should put the car up on ramps, get under it, and have someone turn the wheel side to side it so you can try to look for the leak. And didn't I tell you to buy a repair manual in a different thread? Obviously you ignored that advice. Have you even looked at a Haynes manual or a Chilton manual? I'm going to guess not. They're designed specifically for people who want to work on their own cars at home in their garage (i.e. they strive to explain things as simply as possible). Like Blanco said, we hang out here by choice, not obligation. We are happy to help people as long as they are willing to learn and do some reading and research on their own. Why should we take the time to type out lengthy explanations for you every time you have a question? Do you realize how annoying that is? Go spend $15 on a damn repair manual at Auto-Zone, read it, and THEN, if you still have questions at that point or you're unclear on something, come here and ask a specific question...
