you are a brave man... from the stories ive heard i would NOT want to fuck with the TUV

they make the SS seem like kittens

They are fucking insane. BUT, and this is a crucial but: I'm going to register it with the american military.

They are the people who passed my car with a complete aftermarket exhaust from the block back, aftermarket intake, and a d16y8 intake manifold. Oh, Did I forget to mention that I also had converted the OBD2 car to OBD1? heh. I asked the guy yesterday about turbos. He told me that it was OK as long as it wasn't leaking or anything like that.

But yeah, the TÃœV is insane. If you put the wrong oil filter, or stainless steel brake lines on, you're fucked. You'll get fined, then you have to replace them with the right ones. That's why everyone drives fast cars like the A6 here. It's too hard to make a car fast.

Damn, I hope this makes people alittle happier when they remember they are on (May be on.. international site and all) american soil.

Sportbike evolution:

Army bike, with a fabbed up basic fairing kit, gains 50mph on its top end and reduces fuel consumption. The sport bike is born. Bigger engines, better body kits, more aerodynamics, faster, better bikes evolve.

Then, a new trend comes around. the "naked bike" look. Fairings are removed. Bikes lose aerodynamics, drop top end speed and consume more fuel.

What The Fuck.

Yeah. Some of you folks bitch about having to get your vehical inspected.....

I had to get a letter from the Honda (not just the dealership, Honda Europe) saying that it was alright for me to have 15" 195/50/87V tires and rims, because those tires didn't come on the vehical stock. Do'nt get me started about the free-flowing exhaust.....

I pick the bike up on the 11th. After all the shit with my car's clutch, I can't afford to pay cash for it anymore, so some of it is going on my credit card. I cna't do a loan, because I'll have to pay it off fully when I ship it to the US and A, and I'd have to have it registered and insured (Which is hard, because I don't have my license yet.)
