Motor Swap

I am racing a CRX with a twin cam 1.6 in it and want to go to a 1.8 Integra motor. Do they use the same block? If anyone knows please let me know before I start this project.

no, not the same block - the 1.6 is a D-series and the 1.8 is a B-series - to use the B-series engine, you need to use the B-series transmission, Integra axles and intermediate shaft, custom shift linkage and aftermarket engine mount kit

It is the ZC motor took the B16 out last winter for the ZC but need more power.

If you already had the B16 in there, then you should have everything you need to put the LS in there. And if you already have the B18, and still have your B16, LSVtec would be what I would do.

Why would you yank a B16 out for a ZC anyway? What was the logic behind that?

I blew it up or in NASCAR terms it blowed up. I have the piston on my desk as a business card holder.
