Well I dont have a ton of pictures right now but here is a sampling for now. I plan on getting a lot more shots over the weekend. Once this project is done we are planning on building a Suzuki Raider with a 454 to run Moab with. The rail will be going down with us as well.

What are the specs on this rig? If I knew gas prices would stay low, I would buy a 73-75 Blazer/Jimmy with the full convertable roof.

Ill have my old man write down all the specs. This is going to be the hauling, hunting, four wheeling rig so gas prices where not a huge concern when it was built.

Well here is a quick rundown on the specs.

'95 454 with an Edelbrock 750 cfm carb
Performer RPM Intake
Oval port heads with Edelbrock heavy springs
510 lift cam
Hooker Headers

It also has about four grand between the transfer case and transmission. It has a commercial clutch pack and a 12" rear end I think.

The truck is a '85 it was converted from EFI to Carb before we got our hands on it. Ill try and get some better pictures here soon. We are having a hard time with the headers hitting the drive shaft right now. It would be fine if we had the 4" lift on it but we currently dont have the funds to jack it right now. If anyone has any idea on headers that will clear the driveshaft it would be much appreciated.

Looks nice, should be a pretty sweet trail rig. What motor and tranny are in/going into the buggy?

22R with a Volkswagen tranny. The front suspension is off of an hold BMW and the rear setup is from a VW Bus. We are trying to work out a diffrent air cleaner setup and radiator position as well. It isnt cooling all that well and the first motor that was in it got trashed by the original owner driving it with a sub par air cleaner on it. Sand in combustion chamber = bad news.

22R is a carbed Corolla motor right? Me and my dad have been tinkering with a 71' Baja Bug for a while now, 1835cc with a 3 rib bus tranny, it should be pretty fun if we ever get it done.:D

22R is in fact carbed. Toyota put the 22R in a shit ton of rigs. We have to fashion up some new mounting brackets for the radiator. The original owner thought that putting it on the side of the engine cradle would be a great spot, he was incorrect in that assumption haha.

Go with something like this, this is where Ive seen most all of them on the buggies that are water cooled (boo air cooled is the best:D) right behind the seats with a high CFM push/pull fan.

looks cool. same as daihatsu radier?

No its a Dodge Raider, I did rock a Daihatsu Rocky during the winter for a few years. Then the trany blew out :( That was a sweet ass rig but way to expensive to do anything to sadly.

And that is the kind of radiator setup I had in mind too efhondakid. I really want to put a dual core aluminum radiator in it as well.

Nice. Ive seen a few big block Blazer/Jimmys. From what Ive seen, the steering and headers are the hard part. Otherwise its pretty straight forward. GL with it.
